Seachem Chlorguard 250ml

Seachem ChlorGuard safely, rapidly and effciently removes toxic chlorine. Chlorine is commonly used in many municipal water sources to disinfect tap water. Chlorine is toxic to all aquatic life and should be removed before use of such water. ChlorGuard should be used whenever doing a water change or adding water. Be aware that many municipalities treat water with chloramines rather than chlorine. Seachem ChlorGuard will not remove chloramines. Check with your municipality water provider if you are uncertain which is used in your area. If chloramines are used, then use Seachem Prime instead. Seachem ChlorGuard is an econmical alternative to Seachem Prime when the additional benefits of Seachem Prime are not needed. Seachem Chlorguard is safe for freshwater and marine.

Seachem Live Bearer Salt is a blend of specific salts designed to accurately duplicate the natural environment of live bearing and brackish water fish.

Unlike other aquarium salts currently available to the hobbyist, Seachem Live Bearer Salt is more than just a simple sodium chloride product. These other salts can burn leaves and roots in a planted aquarium.

However, Seachem Live Bearer Salt does not cause this type of damage, and actually provides many nutrients crucial to healthy plant growth. Dosing of Seachem Live Bearer Salt allows for specific duplication of different brackish water environments found worldwide (such as the waters of Sumatra or the waters of Borneo). Live Bearer Salt can also be dosed for general brackish water community aquariums and general freshwater community aquarium. Seachem Live Bearer Salt is a safe and effective alternative to the sodium chloride based aquarium salts so prevalent on the market today.

DIRECTIONS: Use when setting up an aquarium and when making water changes. To add salt to an established tank, do so gradually. It is best to predissolve the salt in freshwater before use. Avoid using salt when simply replacing evaporated water.

For live bearers (such as guppies, swordtails, platies, some mollies), use 20 g (~1 tablespoon) for each 10 gallons (40 L).
For estuary fish from the Yucatan or Sri Lanka (Archers, Chromides, some mollies), use 15 g (~2 teaspoons) for each 3 gallons (12 L).
For estuary fish from Thailand, Cambodia, Borneo, or Sumatra (Datinoides), use 40 g (~2 tablespoons) per 3 gallons (12 L).
For scats, use up to 80 g (~4 tablespoons) per 3 gallons (12 L). This dose is not for planted aquaria.
For mixed populations, use an average dose, representative of species present. For specific information on your fish, check with your dealer or reference an atlas.

Seachem Malawi / Victoria Buffer is a blend of carbonate salts designed to enhance the natural environment of cichlids by increasing hardness, buffer capacity, and pH. Seachem Malawi / Victoria Buffer is formulated to maintain a pH of 7.8-8.4. For optimum replication of the Malawi / Victoria environment, use with Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt.

DIRECTIONS: Use 5 g (1 level teaspoon) of Seachem Liquid Malawi Buffer for each 40–80 L (10 to 20 gallons*) of water each day until desired pH is attained and maintained. Thereafter, use as required to maintain pH, usually no more than once every two to three weeks. TIPS: It is best to dissolve the Seachem Liquid Malawi Buffer in freshwater before use. Seachem AmGuard safely, rapidly and efficiently removes toxic free ammonia. It is safe to use during tank cycling and is ideal for treating unexpected emergency situations. Seachem AmGuard reacts with free ammonia within minutes and does not alter pH. Ammonia can exist in two forms: free and ionized. It is only the free form that is toxic. Traditional ammonia test kits convert all ammonia to free ammonia by raising pH to 12 14; at this pH Seachem AmGuard cannot function and thus a false positive reading will result.
