A bacterial film normally forms at the water surface of aquaria inhibiting gas exchange and often forming an unpleasant scum.
The Skim Box is a Surface Skimmer which removes the film and consequently improves the oxygen supply to the aquarium.
The Skim Box must be connected with a pump (not included) up to 2000 l/h (c. 500 gph).

Natural wave is a multi cycle aquarium pump or powerhead timer, suitable for the creation of water flowing from several directions. The wavemaker has three timed outlets and one standard outlet for connection to other electrical appliances. The wavemaker avoids stagnant areas forming, where waste may accumulate and cause pollution of the water.
Suspended sediment is more readily removed by the filtering system. The water flow and alternate cycles help prevent invertebrates being covered by excess muscous, and facilitate the capture of suspended food.
Natural wave stimulates the development of live corals and all sessile organisms.
Natural Wave has timing patterns from 20 seconds to three minutes.
This wavemaker is Uk spec with three cycled plug outlets and one standard power outlet.
Two of the three timed outlets have on/off operating cycles, adjustable from 20 seconds to three minutes.
The third outlet on the wavemaker has a double cycle from 40 seconds to six minutes.
The adjustment knob allows the choice of speed of the desired cycles. The duration of the cycle is indicated by the illumination of the red indicator light on the wavemaker.
Each timed outlet accepts a max load of 50 watts.
