High performance, quality protein skimmer incorporating a patented venturi injection system which optimises the perfect mixture of micro fine air bubbles and water and ensures intensive, efficient skimming and the removal of proteins and other harmful toxins (waste) from the aquarium.

• The versatile design allows the V2Skim Protein Skimmer to be used either as an external "hang-on" skimmer or internally in a sump or aquarium.

• The large tapered collection cup improves foam concentration and is easily removable for quick and effortless cleaning. On larger models (V2Skim 800, 1000, 1200 & 1500) there is also a drain port to allow skimmate to be drained to waste using the collection cup drain hose supplied.

• Specially designed inlet pipe and bracket ensures quick installation and easy maintenance.

• The water level adjustment dial allows water level and flow to be finely tuned to ensure optimum foam consistency and highly efficient skimming.

• The V2Skim’s unique outlet pipe assembly allows the water to be returned to the aquarium or sump at exactly the desired angle or location.

• All V2Skim Protein Skimmers are supplied with a V2Bubble Stop which filters any remaining micro bubbles from the protein skimmer and prevents them from flowing into the aquarium or sump. The V2Bubble Stop can also be used to provide additional post skimming filtration and the removable sponges mean that it can be incorporated with other filtration components and can be used to house other forms of filtration media such as carbon, using a V2Filter Media Bag (available separately).

The Aqua Medic Turboflotor Blue 3000 is designed for installation in any mode:
- as a hang on, it is simply hung over the edge of the aquarium. Only the venturi pump is inside the tank.

Aqua Medic Turboflotor 750
Internal motor driven protein skimmer for aquaria up to 400 litre ( 100 Gallons)

The Turboflotor 750 is a compact, motor driven internal protein skimmer. A large volume machanical pre-filter is attached to the pump. The 10-watt venturi pump, with needle wheel, automatically draws in air and mixes it with the air aquarium water. The resulting air/water mixture is forced into the reaction cylinder (75 mm, 3 inch diameter). An expansion cone with a post-filter is attached the lower end of the cylinder. The foam cup inner tube is conical shaped to improve the ejection of foam. The strong holding system allows safe fastening of, and adjustments to, the skimmer whilst it is mounted in the aquarium.

The Turboflotor Multi SL is our most versatile protein skimmer. It can be fixed to the side of the aquarium (´hang-on´ mode), or placed inside or outside the sump of the filter. Its compact size makes it small enough to be stored under the cabinet.
In the ´hang-on´mode, only the pump is placed inside the aquarium. The pump Ocean Runner PH 2500, 37 W, features a venturi with the patented Aqua Medic needle wheel. The skimmer itself has the conical collection cup inner tube (also patented), and a lid, and two outflow boxes for directing the outflow back into the aquarium.
As an option, a large 1.2 litre (0.3 gallon) Filter Box can be placed at the outlets, for use as a first stage biological filter.

Aquamedic Midiflotor
Internal Air Driven protein skimmer for aquariums up to 200l. Includes fixing bracket.

The Midiflotor is a small but powerful air-driven internal protein skimmers. Their principal operating feature is the double reaction system. Within the inner cylinder, air bubbles rise and carry large quantities of water upward. This water then falls into the outer cylinder and carries the bubbles downward to the expansion cone, where the bubbles are stopped.

They then rise against the strong counter-current and carry waste products to the foam collection cup. This process ensures a long contact time and extraordinary efficiency for skimmers of these diminutive sizes. The Midiflotor includes strong holding plates that hold securely yet allow easy vertical movement of the skimmer body to regulate their foam production zone. A lime wood air stone producing very fine bubbles is included. The Aquamedic Midiflotor features our patented conical riser tube within the collection cup to improve skimmate quality and production.
The aqua medic Midiflotor requires an air pump cpable of delivering 200-300 litres per hour.
